Selections features the Advanced Worship Band, Valor Orchestra, Valor Choir, the Advanced Dance class and Veritas Dance company.

The performance is one night only on May 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lone Tree Arts Center.  Admission is free and all are welcome!

Audition Information

Before Audition:

• Please download, completely fill out, and bring the audition form to your time slot. To download the form, click here.
• Pay special attention to the “Conflicts” section…we will honor conflicts listed on form if you are cast. We ask in exchange that you honor the rehearsal schedule.
• A rough rehearsal schedule is included on the audition form. We do our best to make this as accurate as possible, but there may be some changes. When we finalize the schedule, you will have the opportunity to indicate any other conflicts you may have.
• You need to prepare a memorized one-minute dramatic monologue, from any play or monologue book that you like, to perform at the audition. There will be a cold read as well.

Audition:

• We will have 75 minute audition slots with a maximum of 10 auditioners allowed for each – auditioners must be on time and available for the entire 75 minute slot.
• Should ALL scheduled spots fill up, we will manually open a time slot from 6:15-7:30. When all other slots are full, you may contact Mr. Muenstermann by email to request a spot within this new slot. (kurt.muenstermann@valorchristian.com)
• In addition to your one-minute monologue you will rehearse and perform cold reads from the Miracle Worker script during this audition.

After Audition:

• Check the Valor Arts Webpage for the callback list after 8:00 p.m.
  Tuesday night, May 8 (valorarts.com)
• Callbacks will be held from 3:30-6:30 on Wednesday, May 9.
• If you are not on the callback list, that does NOT mean you are not cast! – check Arts webpage again Wednesday night after 8:00 p.m. for the final cast list!!
• First read-through is Thursday, May 10 from 3:00-6:30.
• First fall rehearsal is August 6. This is before school starts!
• Please note that we’re still waiting to hear back from the facility we would like to rent and will share the final date of performance as soon as we find out!!

Our optimum date is October 4-6. Other possible dates are September 27-29, October 11-13, or November 1-3.
